Perimeter has some of the best access to public transit in
the region. In fact the only other area of town with
this level of service is downtown Atlanta.

The Perimeter
has four MARTA stations:
North Springs, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, and Medical
Center.

PASS PROGRAM: Discounted Transit through the PTC
PTC offers
an 5% discount on monthly MARTA Breeze tickets through volume
buying. Area companies and properties buy the cards from the
PTC and pass the savings directly to employees. Employees
get a price break and receive MARTA Breeze tickets at their
office saving additional time and money.

Some employers
subsidize MARTA cards and offer program participation through
pre-tax payroll deduction which provides a bigger savings
for employees benefitting the company bottom line. Through
pre-tax payroll deduction employees save even more money.
When employers subsidize the cards they can tap into State
and Federal tax
breaks. Employers should ask the PTC for a detailed explanation
of how a discount transit program can work for their particular
business environment.

Bus Routes to/around the Central Perimeter
CCT
Route #65-
Johnson Ferry Road: provides service between the CCT Marietta
Transfer Station, Merchants Walk area, Johnson Ferry Baptist
Church Park and Ride Lot, and the Dunwoody MARTA station.

Departs Marietta at 6, 7, 8:15 and 9:15 in the morning and
3, 4, and 5:15 in the afternoon.
Departs Dunwoody Station at 7:06, 8:06, 9:21, and 10:21 in
the morning and 4:06, 5:06, and 6:21 in the afternoon.
MARTA
Bus #5- Provides service between the Dunwoody and Lindbergh
MARTA stations, primarily along Roswell Road. Serves Concourse,
Lakeside Commons, and businesses along Hammond Drive.
MARTA
Bus #41- Windsor Parkway: Provides service between the
Brookhaven and Medical Center stations, along Windsor Parkway,
Northland, Oglethorpe University, and Glenridge Drive. Also
provides direct bus service to Crawford & Company, Glenridge
Highlands, Hewlett Packard, Perimeter Summit, and Ashford
Green.

Bus #70- Chamblee - Dunwoody: Providing service from Brookhaven
via Briarwood and Buford Highway. Then from Chamblee MARTA
station north on Ashford Dunwoody to the Dunwoody MARTA station.

Bus # 85- Roswell/Alpharetta: Providing service between
the North Springs station and Alpharetta, via Dunwoody Place,
Roswell Road, Alpharetta Highway, Cumming Highway, Windward
Parkway, and North Point Parkway.

Bus # 87- Roswell Road (north of Hammond): Providing out
and back service between the Dunwoody rail station and Dunwoody
Place/Roswell Road. Service along Hammond Drive, Roswell Rd,
and Dunwoody Place/Hope Road. Serves Concourse, Lakeside Commons,
and Publix at Perimeter.

Express Bus #140- Mansell Road to North Springs Shuttle:
Direct route from the MARTA Park & Ride lot at Georgia
400 and Mansell Road to the North Springs rail station.

Express Bus #143 - Windward Park & Ride Lot to North
Springs Station.

Bus #148- Powers Ferry: Goes west from Sandy Springs rail
station, along Abernathy, Roswell Rd., Mt. Vernon Pkwy, and
Powers Ferry Rd, terminating at Northside Drive/Heards Ferry
at Powers Ferry Landing on the Chattahoochee River. Provides
direct bus service to 10 and 20 Glenlake Parkway.
MARTA
Bus #150- Perimeter Center: Provides 20 minute rush hour
service along Perimeter Center East, north Ashford Dunwoody
Road north of Perimeter mall. This bus provdes service to
Perimeter Place including Super Target.
MARTA
Bus #305- Dunwoody MARTA Station: Provides 6am-6pm service
from the staion west on Hammond, north on Barfield, across
Abernathy to Glenlake Parkwy and back to the Dunwoody Station.
