Are you looking for a Better Way to Work?

Good question - Ask anyone who travels in the Central Perimeter area. More than 115,000 employees, shoppers, and residents travel the Central Perimeter everyday - spending too much time 'sitting' in traffic.

The Perimeter Transportation Coalition (PTC) is working to reduce congestion and improve air quality. By improving access and offering a variety of commuting alternatives, commuters can save time - which inevitably benefits everyone.

The PTC helps employees find cheaper, easier and less-stressful ways of getting to and from work.

PTC PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • Perimeter Pass Program: PTC's discounted transit fare program offered to employees through employers based in the Perimeter.
  • Vanpooling: A vanpool is a group of 7-15 commuters sharing the ride to work.
  • Computerized Ridematching for Carpooling and Vanpooling: The PTC works with the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) and its 1-87-RIDEFIND matching service to match single occupant vehicles (SOV) with others intrested in carpooling or vanpooling.
  • Bicycling and Walking: PTC works with the Atlanta Bicycle Campaign (ABC) and participates in the Clean Air Campaign's (CAC) Metro Atlanta Walk There! Challenge. Both programs are designed to improve biking and walking conditions in and around the Perimeter.
  • Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH): If you use a alternative mode getting to or from work and have an emergency, PTC will pay for five (5) free taxi rides to your destination - it's your saftey net in time of need. Find out how to sign-up here.
  • Commuter Rewards: Includes Commuter Prizes, Carpool Rewards, Cash For Commuters, Spring & Fall Walk There! Challenges, and much more! Get rewarded for not driving alone!
